Drifting House has been getting lots of rave reviews. You can find many of them on her website (
), but here are a couple quotes:
“Affecting stories...Lee writes with a clarity and simplicity of style that discloses deep and conflicting emotions about cultural identity.” undefinedKirkus Reviews (starred review)
"...a book of unforgettable stories, each one building on the other to create a complex, moving portrait of contemporary Korea and its diaspora." undefinedSarah Shun–lien Bynum, National Book Award finalist
You can find more information about Krys Lee and Drifting House at
The reading will start at 7 pm at the Cambridge Community Center, a 8 minute walk west of Central Square. After the reading and discussion we plan to take Krys out for drinks afterwards! Please RSVP by emailing:
We are very excited to host Krys, and we hope you can join us for this event!
PS: If you can't make the BKA reading on Friday, April 6, Krys will also have a reading at Porter Square Books the night before, on Thursday, April 5, as part of her book tour.
