Join BKA Board Member, Lauren, on Zoom for Korean cooking classes! We’ll be learning to make traditional dishes as well as modern favorites over the course of three Saturdays in November and December. Please note that this series includes meat dishes (if you would like to learn vegetarian cooking instead, please check out the other cooking series "Community Care: Nourishing Ourselves".

Each class will last around two hours and we will focus on one or two main dishes as well as some sides. If you have any dietary restrictions, just let Lauren know ahead of time and she’ll do her best to offer up suggestions for substitutions. All levels of cooking experience are welcome to join.

You will be provided with an essential Korean cooking starter kit that will include many pantry items that are commonly used in Korean dishes. The cooking starter kit can be delivered within 30 miles of the Boston area. You will be responsible for purchasing fresh produce, meat, and other ingredients on your own. Each menu and a list of ingredients will be posted on the BKA website and Facebook event.

Registration

Registration for this cooking series will be open to paying BKA members first for 3 days only (Members will need to log in to register). After that it will be opened up to the rest of the BKA community for a small fee of $20. There are 5 spots that come with ingredient kits available and you will be registering to attend all three classes in this series. 

Once you receive your cooking kit, you cannot cancel your registration. If you have any questions or have any extenuating circumstances, please contact lauren [at] bkadoptee.org directly.
