Join BKA for a discussion on "Sharing Our Experiences as Asian Adoptees." Leona Louise Bagares-Bedolido Merk and Karen Young will facilitate a conversation that will explore the diversity of Asian Adoptees and our experiences, as well as what may connect us as Asian Adoptees. This event is open to those who identify as Asian Adoptees and especially to those who may be new to BKA or the adoptee community. This event is a great way to connect to the Boston and adoptee community.
This event will be hosted in a member's home in Jamaica Plain. The address will be shared to those who RSVP to the event via the BKA facebook page or to this event (registrant names will not be displayed publicly). Carpooling arrangements will be made closer to the event.
BKA Discussion Group is made possible by a grant from the Korean Ministry of Health and Wellness. Previously, the discussion group has hosted events on various film screenings and discussions on KAD conferences, anxiety, stereotypes, relationships, and families among adoptees.
